Learn About Lyme: Signs & Symptoms

Lyme disease is spread by the bite of an infected tick. Signs and symptoms like a rash, fever, chills, and muscle pain can begin 3 to 30 days after a tick bite. If you feel sick after spending time in areas with ticks (even if you don’t remember being bitten), see a doctor.
